Our Team

25+ years of combined experience working in the energy industry

In March of 2021, Rich Bohon, Scott Erickson, and Jeff Wedgeworth started One Energy Analytics (OEA), an autonomous energy advisor and analytics group, backed by One Energy, an industrial power company. OEA’s managing team is made up of experts in deregulated energy markets, and combined, we have over six decades of experience working in the energy industry.

OEA’s well-rounded educational experience incorporates excellent customer service, an engineering mindset, and data-guided problem solving which are key components to our success. We are uniquely qualified and we use better analytics and best practices to provide customized energy solutions. We also ensure our customers have a firm understanding of our proposed strategies and the decision-making processes behind our solutions.

RICH BOHON

Head of Analytics

Rich leads a team of professional analysts and problem solvers who are responsible for the strategies and solutions that help our customers become better consumers of energy.

The One Energy Analytics team was assembled early in Ohio’s deregulation history and has used customers’ data, along with consistent educational practices, proven modeling strategies, and frequent customer interaction to drive savings to our customers’ utility expenses. The vast knowledge and experience of Rich and his team members provide the perfect balance between data analytics and business methodology.

Prior to joining One Energy, Rich held positions with Lykins Energy Advisors, Ford Motor Company, and owned his own service company. Rich holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University College of Engineering where he specialized in fluid dynamics.

SCOTT ERICKSON

Director of Analytics

Problem-solving through creative and strategic customized solutions is Scott’s passion. A long-time business associate of OEA’s Head of Analytics Rich Bohon, Scott and Rich have built a uniquely qualified team where better analytics and best practices provide better-customized energy solutions.

The OEA team has the necessary independence and autonomy to tackle the energy market. As the team’s Director of Analytics, Scott uses business discovery and interpretation of data analytics to communicate meaningful data patterns to customers. He combines scientific technology with regulatory best practices to achieve optimal energy solutions.

Prior to joining OEA, Scott was the Strategic Solutions Manager for Lykins Energy Advisors, where he played a key role in establishing and managing the professional energy consulting and services firm. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Business from the University of Cincinnati.

JEFF WEDGEWORTH

Technical Manager

Jeff leads OEA’s data and modeling efforts, as well as a broad array of energy consulting projects.

Jeff provides project-focused work with an emphasis on customer service and transparency. He works as an analyst, problem solver, and educator who identifies primary energy issues for customers and creates elegant solutions. He has consulted for organizations in the commercial, industrial, and public sectors, providing strategies that manage customer risk and support their bottom line. Jeff’s expertise in renewable energy and storage technologies and his analytical approach to their feasibility and development are greatly valuable to the OEA team.

Before OEA, Jeff led the analytics team at Lykins Energy Advisors. Prior to this, he worked as an analyst with AEP Energy where he modeled customer churn and renewable energy project feasibility. Jeff holds a Master of Environmental Science from Miami University, Oxford and earned undergraduate degrees in Physics and Philosophy at Oberlin College.

ERIN ROEKLE

Principle Energy Advisor

Erin assists with the OEA team’s data and modeling works. She spends time between OEA’s parent company, One Energy Enterprises, and OEA. Her expertise in wind project development and processes has made One Energy a leader in on-site wind energy installation for commercial and industrial organizations. She leads the research and development of new project due diligence and energy yield estimate methods, while ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Erin is also involved in the financial analyses of these projects, including current utility cost reviews.

Erin has been working in the energy industry since 2012. She began her career improving the modeling of real-time, hour-ahead, and day-ahead renewable energy forecasts specifically for ISOs and RTOs. Erin holds an MS in Atmospheric Science from Texas Tech University, and a BSE in Earth Systems Science and Engineering with a Climate Physics concentration from the University of Michigan.

LIZ WALLS

Director of Renewable Energy Services

Liz leads the Renewable Energy Services division of OEA (OEA-RES) which specializes in supporting renewable energy developers and operators in both the pre-construction and operational stages of development.  She has worked in the wind industry since 2007 with extensive experience in wind energy resource assessment, operational data analysis, and software development.

Liz is the lead developer of the open-source wind energy software, Continuum®, which OEA-RES leverages when conducting analyses for clients.  In addition, Liz develops educational videos and curriculum centered around Continuum® and fosters a growing community of Continuum® users.
